We've had A LOT going on! I started a new job with <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">SandRidge</span> Energy and we moved to <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">OKC</span>! It's been crazy around here wrapping up the holidays, moving, starting a new job and trying to keep up with <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">Justie's</span> schedule. He's still really loving flying for American Eagle. This month he's been based in New York! I wish I could post some of the pictures he's sent me from the plane above New York City (I promise he wasn't flying the plane when he took the pictures). Starting in February he's going to based in Dallas which will be great for us since he won't have to travel so far to get to work.<br />I'm loving my new job too! I'm a Regulatory Technician at <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">SandRidge</span> and I can't even begin to explain how much I've already learned. I work with a really great group of people and am really loving what I'm doing.<br />I mentioned that we moved to <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-error">OKC</span>. <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error">Justie</span> and I decided to take pretty drastic measures to save money and buy a house. So.... we're living in a 1 bedroom apartment, we cut out cable and are sticking to our budget. It's really not been too bad but I do miss our house in Tulsa. I snapped this picture before we pulled away in the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error">Uhaul</span> so I could remember all of the great times we had there!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb6u8434dT-vKg0BZcMjb2z0mXfywhJfXjijfwL7SUo6M8P3T8gzCh_RKZFhT87b-JhTA_eCCuaOKCM0-zi80yz9V4jiFFeBgdEkjoxQYJmtIi46igNV39sFkABJLKl_fRU43naziXQMni/s1600/DSCN1066.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699519765073441138" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb6u8434dT-vKg0BZcMjb2z0mXfywhJfXjijfwL7SUo6M8P3T8gzCh_RKZFhT87b-JhTA_eCCuaOKCM0-zi80yz9V4jiFFeBgdEkjoxQYJmtIi46igNV39sFkABJLKl_fRU43naziXQMni/s320/DSCN1066.JPG" /></a> We loved Tulsa but we're falling in love with <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-error">OKC</span> too! Here's a picture of us at a Thunder game (the tickets were free from work! I told you...we're on a budget and <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-error">SandRidge</span> is great- they even gave me the Thunder t-shirt!)<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj80ZEs8yXcVtNmTdPh-BnwOehzILl5rDfrKOf6QwBpBZALYGbKlFHKWi-ZjxSViW4k2g20KXBx7Btz5niXwOmuPmNN9KTFVFlaRUX0FdB3SoSmnnRLtf_XWMokSpLpnwzMOjSs1YOcZ70d/s1600/DSCN1059.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699519761467971490" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj80ZEs8yXcVtNmTdPh-BnwOehzILl5rDfrKOf6QwBpBZALYGbKlFHKWi-ZjxSViW4k2g20KXBx7Btz5niXwOmuPmNN9KTFVFlaRUX0FdB3SoSmnnRLtf_XWMokSpLpnwzMOjSs1YOcZ70d/s320/DSCN1059.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div>I had some more Christmas pictures on my camera that I wanted to share. We had so much fun visiting, playing games and playing dirty <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-error">santa</span>. Tyler was saying on the way there that he always gets the sort end of the stick when we play dirty <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-error">santa</span>. His luck changed this year though...he ended up with a case of beer! Now that the "little boys" in our family are growing up and turning 21 I guess we'll have to get used to the new gifts!<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2_xHAIBzlGDnV7RefJiHA2diSQPzjZyGPU8NhBR44G4M8o1uRMVcV7zoE09rkLlXZAic0l26nNZHda5p6ckAjDL7dXftnrF4IDaUdxy3AEnf8qqo1U0D3m8H8HbVuwAg9bza3p1JELvYc/s1600/DSCN1065.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 345px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5699518789080690722" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2_xHAIBzlGDnV7RefJiHA2diSQPzjZyGPU8NhBR44G4M8o1uRMVcV7zoE09rkLlXZAic0l26nNZHda5p6ckAjDL7dXftnrF4IDaUdxy3AEnf8qqo1U0D3m8H8HbVuwAg9bza3p1JELvYc/s320/DSCN1065.JPG" /></a><br />This is my Aunt Cindy, Uncle Don and cousin Aaron. That's because Justie will be flying on Christmas weekend so we decided to celebrate a week early. :)<br /><br />We had a great weekend! I went to my parents' house after work on Friday then Justie flew into OKC on Saturday. He arrived just in time to go to Brooke's wedding. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures but she was beautiful! We danced the night away then went back to Oney. Sunday morning we woke up and Justie opened his Christmas presents from my parents. "Santa" brought him a little stocking with lots of stuff from Spartan. Justie went to Spartan (flight school) in Tulsa right after high school before he went to OSU. Here's a picture of one of his many Spartan gifts.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5688377087727015506" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjByzYvf8ewHgfNCVMWWYTNUoXad68xaCPPbCdlOGxh22_sXJwvp4xDAmUjnR3hmqsrJYTDpFA_8KfBKAijC7MQmBh80_48-KMHt_8LPum9U83cpQa-Dsrhthh1cfEXQOxlyd3NzTGKh4Mo/s320/DSCN1021.JPG" />It was fun to watch him open his gifts. I'm really glad we got to spend this time together since he will be away for Christmas.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6tKIm3BEP8A9dJFeE9aomREMAVrSyDo7rn6nPii8QSgtlprxMgzWe3TMJMWprsRShnAE9WHkXDQH7c5hjL5Z4yL-qlJm2zGgDxjqMVU28E1jhdW157CPeQyaonxabQtiWm80wkGTiZIUU/s1600/DSCN1024.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5688377081360373618" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6tKIm3BEP8A9dJFeE9aomREMAVrSyDo7rn6nPii8QSgtlprxMgzWe3TMJMWprsRShnAE9WHkXDQH7c5hjL5Z4yL-qlJm2zGgDxjqMVU28E1jhdW157CPeQyaonxabQtiWm80wkGTiZIUU/s320/DSCN1024.JPG" /></a> Here he is with his haul! Justie was off flying out of Miami so we had to celebrate together a little earlier in the week. We missed him on Thanksgiving day but it was great to see my family. My Mom, Dad, Mema, Tyler, Aunt Carol, Jenni and baby Will were all there.<br /><br />Mom found a link on the Chinet website that has instructions on folding napkins into fun designs. I used one of the patterns to fold our napkins into turkeys!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDOUrqeVv0SgXGWba9XQKK_w7rhJumVxPfkM55uWcskd1IZ1SSB8-HJlkXYKgO5qMA-U40HSobOro3y0gq3fKkj0ja5_WzA-o75TDa29j05jkJnNr_XZS9rsdyofDLV4loO1v7HS56uvl9/s1600/DSCN0982.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682088745468607058" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDOUrqeVv0SgXGWba9XQKK_w7rhJumVxPfkM55uWcskd1IZ1SSB8-HJlkXYKgO5qMA-U40HSobOro3y0gq3fKkj0ja5_WzA-o75TDa29j05jkJnNr_XZS9rsdyofDLV4loO1v7HS56uvl9/s320/DSCN0982.JPG" /></a> I didn't take too many pictures while I was home but here's one of my Dad and Mema. Dad looks a little tired...probably because he had been playing with my cousin's baby, Will. (more on him a little later) We call Dad the "baby whisperer". He is wonderful with kids....they love him!<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdz4An7aK_M4z0nDI872wPTcwOz3hdgM4YY4J4v102oE3IchSkDSeY7sDfVPzFNmPOvU_9o0ud9XzJjsCGYpHbTrILTZmLwdXC_EGZOnqCiPlIwiBN5orhPSWRA5-beQQsr3Ws9u58tkS1/s1600/DSCN0983.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682088733007176802" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdz4An7aK_M4z0nDI872wPTcwOz3hdgM4YY4J4v102oE3IchSkDSeY7sDfVPzFNmPOvU_9o0ud9XzJjsCGYpHbTrILTZmLwdXC_EGZOnqCiPlIwiBN5orhPSWRA5-beQQsr3Ws9u58tkS1/s320/DSCN0983.JPG" /></a> Here's Mom slaving away in the kitchen. :)<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRGuZI1tKDktUR_vFbCphexZtiWtUqc3jEJ7G2KfvyXSxZdVWoDmxVrf0bV91U8K0AItvSVfdKx5JmpIPCqe6bSH7xX9IPh6Nj6htrEt3ZK7gBr83FoTuz2uEFWRiJrw5O1DFyHGoe7wwZ/s1600/DSCN0984.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682088729644560674" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRGuZI1tKDktUR_vFbCphexZtiWtUqc3jEJ7G2KfvyXSxZdVWoDmxVrf0bV91U8K0AItvSVfdKx5JmpIPCqe6bSH7xX9IPh6Nj6htrEt3ZK7gBr83FoTuz2uEFWRiJrw5O1DFyHGoe7wwZ/s320/DSCN0984.JPG" /></a> Here's little Will- not to be confused with "big Will". My family went to my Aunt Rhonda's house to do a little more celebrating. We had a pretty big crew: My Aunt Cindy and Uncle Don came up from Ft. Worth, TX and my cousin Rodney, his wife Erin and their baby Carson were there too. We stayed Friday night then Saturday all the men went to the OU game while the girls went shopping!</div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Here's a picture of little Carson with my Aunt Cindy. Wal-Mart! (please read a lot of sarcasm into that) We went for a really great cause though so it really turned out to be fun. This year we decided to participate in Operation Christmas Child and send a box of goodies to a child in need. We bought items for a boy age 5-9 and are praying that they will be a blessing to whomever receives them.<br /><br />Here's what we got...<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxWOdtL0Od9SeFqxjNJwnxpPoKLRRQ4mJDwy-RADTSXnNo4Cd6aykZ8tYrADtIcegZ3hSwiAWTXKcVYt8Pa6nXArn9cZ5cn7ZEmMXwGw7d-Qb4V6ZNibxhCtJ1XH7gfbUza0VVbq8WvTtq/s1600/002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5675793774129279778" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxWOdtL0Od9SeFqxjNJwnxpPoKLRRQ4mJDwy-RADTSXnNo4Cd6aykZ8tYrADtIcegZ3hSwiAWTXKcVYt8Pa6nXArn9cZ5cn7ZEmMXwGw7d-Qb4V6ZNibxhCtJ1XH7gfbUza0VVbq8WvTtq/s320/002.JPG" border="0" /></a> and we had to fit it into this little shoe box!<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVePmydptVUuYGKhyq_MeQgIQ5aDGQhoZXl9CfpWfa19Hdx65eEgnaZMhtvXNVR1RruN1QOSKuoMEsFhMk0SOan9_Ap1xUZGjSHOEz7YdNYv6tvFxP57cY4o2cbDU2vu2TyG3wOqd-AR8Q/s1600/001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5675793764516688482" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVePmydptVUuYGKhyq_MeQgIQ5aDGQhoZXl9CfpWfa19Hdx65eEgnaZMhtvXNVR1RruN1QOSKuoMEsFhMk0SOan9_Ap1xUZGjSHOEz7YdNYv6tvFxP57cY4o2cbDU2vu2TyG3wOqd-AR8Q/s320/001.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />If you are interested in participating please visit <a href="http://www.samaritanspurse.org/">http://www.samaritanspurse.org/</a> but be sure to do it soon! We lucked out because there was an auction happening at our neighbors house and boy does my Mom like an auction :)<br /><br />I was really proud of Justie- there were TONS of "treasures" at the auction that were going for about a dollar and he did a pretty good job of controlling himself. Until that is, he got this little jewel...<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUkZGP6yCFvQh3G1rTuUr8HeG-pr7uJIXhBS9FV1JBb2_TeY-fTVzJ5Wyu2Otx4fRezxx_dTxDagF3eEdWImHR3Y1mDWVkU-za2biokGIUl2TQ1m5fiPj8dIUiN-cS2DU2AK7Oj59zeGwU/s1600/2011-11-14-1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5674965411750496386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 221px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 166px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUkZGP6yCFvQh3G1rTuUr8HeG-pr7uJIXhBS9FV1JBb2_TeY-fTVzJ5Wyu2Otx4fRezxx_dTxDagF3eEdWImHR3Y1mDWVkU-za2biokGIUl2TQ1m5fiPj8dIUiN-cS2DU2AK7Oj59zeGwU/s320/2011-11-14-1.jpg" border="0" /></a> Turns out it's a painting by Edward Thomas called Red Watermill. I've tried to look around online to see what it might be worth but there's a pretty wide range of prices. Who knows...we may have just lucked out!<br /><br />My family has never really been into hunting but I guess Justie got my Mema pretty excited about it.<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaLxEKCZ-Y_S-z2fGPCp4dYXfAhhNZ7yO1dMHEcwDcPOyoPW2Ug-PZx_FLqq4YIAPd435z9SA0LvZULp4RZBm1lZ_oohlAfdoH2G02F3ODpoh9YbD5SSv1P9u4uYdzCRVG0ahyHK_Ggvuv/s1600/001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5674965406498846050" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaLxEKCZ-Y_S-z2fGPCp4dYXfAhhNZ7yO1dMHEcwDcPOyoPW2Ug-PZx_FLqq4YIAPd435z9SA0LvZULp4RZBm1lZ_oohlAfdoH2G02F3ODpoh9YbD5SSv1P9u4uYdzCRVG0ahyHK_Ggvuv/s320/001.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />I wish I had more pictures to share but our weekend got cut a little short because Justie got called in to work. Justie got back from his trip just in time for Homecoming. I wasn't very successful in getting pictures of the trip but I did manage to come up with a few.<br /><br />Justie wasn't able to make it to walk-around so I snapped this picture for him. If you haven't ever been, 1. you must go and 2. it's CRAZY busy. That's my best excuse for the lousy picture quality. This house dec was really neat and I thought Justie would like the plane.<br /><br />(visit my friend, Courtney's blog for better pictures :) <a href="http://kissescomeintwos.blogspot.com/">http://kissescomeintwos.blogspot.com/</a>)<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5670955950571316642" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 340px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVF0xAC2gBXi2M2ERb-DfMc_XeZ4EGoFAVj0CpKvBEvhbsM82wTR6phr1XOOntUF0IqIql2Y-cSmg26EaPS-dsI262oHzEW_kg-xM9hoprpnWBR5PZ5RBeadIlTyu9ro1VyqmUBlO36yH-/s320/001.JPG" border="0" /> <br /><div>I called it a night a little early on Friday so I could be sure to get in some quality tailgating on Saturday! These were our tailgating buddies: Kayla, Joey, Brooke (Kayla's very best friend) and Cameron (Brooke's boyfriend). They are such a good time! <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5670955958561451346" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 328px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 235px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj556ll5sIduxn-B5p_zBM8OS6uCpmXFxwmYW1tuQIijSndsdnuiWsTbxrR1liC1DaJE_cYdgau2j9-rSyhHXsD2pyHpXtBrcW5GM0qGBK_vn97eajQs_SxaPyMsfoeI4so6iZQWGUfl410/s320/002.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><div>After the football game we all went to Lucille's in Mulhall for dinner. You can find more info on this awesome restaurant at <a href="http://lucillesok.com/">http://lucillesok.com/</a>. You should check it out! They have the coolest beer dispenser I've ever seen. It's really hard to explain but I'll give it my best shot and hopefully the pictures will tell the rest.</div><br /><div></div><br /><div>There are two dispensers on the bar and each one has two "spouts". The spouts don't pour beer down like all the rest. They shoot the beer up into the glass so there's no foam on top! The glasses (actually plastic cups) have a hole in the bottom surrounded by a magnetic ring. There's another little round magnet inside the cup that lifts up as you push the cup onto the dispenser then when you pull the cup off it closes.<br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5670955978666452226" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 310px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 233px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdhn1k-610hyphenhypheng5pnEAHVc4ghBlrcXsoRlf2rMP9gD3hWXy-0RSjRUojuT1bULQdSDo6VH0xez4lCJcBa4mrO-1hN6vAJ_ciLA5hUppwm27DXr2uLS7aRnEUP9V6X1WnFEDzuwazuaBMtwg/s320/004.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5670955981424412386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 344px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 230px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX4n9Z144wWUr66dudKOArV8OEkjvGBjjTc4krauO3gA08f2TwxlT-Lhgyo6HhlN9CuZw0o4Tm1pGw-mtnj1ACxH7GbsxymnpUW6tHG6jaO-Skm1-Oq7j_RnOHQszOBRumem6iox9QPJrT/s320/003.JPG" border="0" /><br />We spent Halloween at Kayla and Joey's passing out candy while they took Will trick-or-treating. Before we left I decided to dress Sidney up in an old bumble bee costume I had. She was cute walking around in that little tutu.<br /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5670955995158263410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 312px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 237px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg65i3k-KWF2bWn2P_YOnOLOuYFV8MNfFSlorUgC-vGF8AYpyfapAlDJNyFn3u0ZmlSrB8V35IC4Q2aMnKWC-AOd-3aKD_Xar36jcvQHHE5XWhZtUOnT7NubH6m8FfMFrHUcATnXB7aBgZt/s320/005.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><div>Then Justie put it on..... not so cute. Have you ever seen a bee with chest hair? And yes, those are pleather tights he's wearing. They came from my Aunt Betty...don't ask.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5670956713959853858" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 276px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 356px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDMFgq_Kcy6iCmeULKmypiGEa65AmgvPFBZeiagPyBnXr8Sp28JkNsSUuFEpnMRwuHl2ci3BqYM2toR9nfdjuXX7du6bPieMIWpXVym9_r8Wxq4t6V3hpJF7YpQSCuxUfSA0dbbs5tQ5Zv/s320/006.JPG" border="0" />Last night Sami invited Kayla and I over for a new tradition of cooking and watching Top Chef. We made Kayla's Chicken Picatta- so good!<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5670956716040545650" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 331px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 228px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXlTob1Gi5MNNbtGxNUZc70p8EOZ-uQIRb5Nhgel4dAsOLg3B5SIkT69uRt7Efcs_-UAtMModl0sRhGlgEkfOdfC4S1bvYuHVg9LN4bp94ob1DoIDNUEvrTf30YSzdS_nb2SHdNMJZ7ujl/s320/007.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2828921875674989365.post-87625004686599918492011-10-26T16:13:00.001-07:002011-10-26T16:48:30.987-07:00Scary ThingsThat title should warn you.... this is going to be scary! I'm going to start off with one of the scariest things I've seen in a while. My husband in the kitchen!....with a 3 year old! It actually turned out pretty well but this could have gone really wrong. :)<br /><br />Justie and Will (our nephew) were making Halloween cookies here. I made some sugar cookie dough then they rolled it out and used Halloween cookie cutters and orange and black sprinkles to decorate the cookies. I couldn't tell you why I didn't get a picture of the cookies....<br /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667944374833975954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieR_NtPYrYgXNiUV9srqwMcXOhQgWnTc663eDIWpEaIVrc5eOAsYDw9ers6DDebWCRAbiCEr3MZpZfVtSBfvV6sQCdPGlQtBP-nCWoqKGpHZveDWxscAbDMAQYIm3zCfINUntrT5Am4cZa/s320/004.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><div>Joey, Kayla and Will all came over to carve pumpkins and eat Justie's favorite meal- beans! I was really proud of Will in this picture. I was super scared of the "pumpkin guts". Justie tried to get him to touch the nasty insides of the pumpkins and you would have thought he had been shot. He got pretty brave at the end though.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667944072176695266" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 357px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 224px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF-ay4x-xJpK7nQL9DS3MSadFI0EYejphCaQQFuh-V3jw-FIOtj8VPAh1XxF28mS6ZDSFINDokwPywAKEzi_qE2-xhl2gJRaADfkBU68s3OJcPp3T8zNo4ptA5RFihZcpTIP6JXtZKhXrV/s320/001.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><div>Here he is with his final product. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667944077995701106" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 346px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 227px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTnegDVr0XoIRcAEQa7sH74Ft1RKhyphenhyphenFpSW28yieJlUMZlQZaD-1xt9rV_IhFldHDobxnyMcFQhdSDAcJjrmhFX77FeS1jiNxoLkyexlbyCC5C1EvTD6k3ow0uLaVEelC8TYEOD4XxGby7Y/s320/002.JPG" border="0" />Here are three of our creations...Kayla hadn't finished hers at this point but this was the best picture I could get. I free handed the one on the left...it's supposed to be an owl in a tree but one of the owl ears fell off. The next one is Will's and then Justie's scary face.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667944091746570258" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 358px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 247px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcYr4sTu64vrlANFwPCqCe94EK8snIbt7P6q1hIVVu6QrPNau5sIk9uhyphenhyphen7Z_DF1mQQtgCh1WQDJg9dWvROQoV5-h6NcSwrGctgBBY2t_65gVWFTXukQq5dqsKS2SL-iFr31Ek9_GSuLPWo/s320/003.JPG" border="0" />Here they all are on our front porch. It was really fun!....well, except for that space between 3 and 4 K :) I owe a big "thank you" for my friend Jen for running with us and my Aunt and Uncle for letting us crash at their house the night before. As you can see, we had to be there pretty early.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665753407444503234" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLVttT9_TBtDnckI4LBEzlOmSDtY22MxZckOtCtGqJIteEJrm2J4P0Q1PpTrdO30llhHvcHAqbsmtv4wUwEVmeNqgv-Xor7ITkOIHVPN8TaPQ6IrI3hatBo5FdwLDfCwBBwf_xneGuSHd1/s320/001.JPG" border="0" />After the race we went to Justie's parents' house to watch OSU stomp on Texas! Justie decided to clean up his pickup he drove in high school. We were both pretty shocked when it started right up....not as shocked as when I saw what he was wearing/using to clean the truck! hahaha!<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwhl35HUHouXklZtawb94NkyPaP-vfveC4v9Lmmf9zzPYLZkFNUBYbP0ab1_Qhgike3qzq0hixzXpVBx58KDatfwtf98VXMRDkBMVISRUMyEQimY4bmzjDCGIirJiCuRTRPhMqweqq5Qh2/s1600/002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665753058459171042" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwhl35HUHouXklZtawb94NkyPaP-vfveC4v9Lmmf9zzPYLZkFNUBYbP0ab1_Qhgike3qzq0hixzXpVBx58KDatfwtf98VXMRDkBMVISRUMyEQimY4bmzjDCGIirJiCuRTRPhMqweqq5Qh2/s320/002.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2828921875674989365.post-54918734902867339132011-10-12T18:42:00.000-07:002011-10-12T19:05:24.546-07:00Super FansThanks right- we've been super fans lately! Justie FINALLY got to go to an OSU game with me and boy did we get our money's worth.<br /><br />I met up with Tyler for a little tailgating before the game. It was crazy to walk around with him in his "outfit". We could feel the eyes on us the whole time. I snapped this shot right before he had to head into the stadium. Before he left this spot he was asked to take a picture with some kids. So fun!<br /><br />Tyler also got on the "kiss cam" during this game! I'm not sure who the girl was next to him but he was a gentleman and gave her a cute kiss on the forehead :)<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5662789289495812082" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 228px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 276px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIPD6KcnCE33AopCrMazgSQ2Wlg_d7wgZ8IrTR-Su62pSZLAmwxgupcPMPI_S-rG2TlOiPvHlElXXSeNNr_qUUNL0p8x__ISoP-vSlhuVhyjEL1JClqM4AjLqgA-QAWuTlAC7dw_xDekX8/s320/001.JPG" border="0" />Check out all that orange!<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnpUANyphDv6XiJDkHsd75RD3YpkQdNPTcivfPQA2RyngXCBnVrI7ljrn68YkREQGFOaBf8x1iK4BfqezJq6yWZ5nGPsPnE_vmVfYDRhq7BZxuC8u3sNgsZjTfhSGWe4UZ56nYaqPcQPJl/s1600/002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5662788758607234098" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnpUANyphDv6XiJDkHsd75RD3YpkQdNPTcivfPQA2RyngXCBnVrI7ljrn68YkREQGFOaBf8x1iK4BfqezJq6yWZ5nGPsPnE_vmVfYDRhq7BZxuC8u3sNgsZjTfhSGWe4UZ56nYaqPcQPJl/s320/002.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />This was the score at half time...BLOWOUT! We ate. I could probably just end this post there... :) I'll go ahead and give a few more details but this picture pretty much sums it up.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660556541546940498" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrTPFugMevyXPM-ccrAxwAjShemsk2aZcMEeZB8f2OAs-tuGgRhYNzMeFt-fSg5iDspWqZ_UJfdW8_g7GFz-T4c8mqN9h-uj3LKeGZMYb7RA0GMi4vlmKIEsV0fY3mludPVL9473S1Qyll/s320/005.JPG" border="0" />I've heard of all kinds of strange foods at the fair but this one was pretty unusual. Chocolate covered bacon- if you know my husband, you know this will probably be recreated at our house soon...(you'll recall the "bacon weave" from a previous post)<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5gG0K88REE345FU9plzO2XQqwwwcM-p3tWYX8JzI4eCxGSZ3k-a9FkmNaNmpzoIGyymR1ztO6x67vblRsOR_kPIlQM5TpP9zbxJSKCPoXLaqwL8ody4ytLWMcOtR_6G9O_OFkrWyeBjcZ/s1600/003.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660556242163284018" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5gG0K88REE345FU9plzO2XQqwwwcM-p3tWYX8JzI4eCxGSZ3k-a9FkmNaNmpzoIGyymR1ztO6x67vblRsOR_kPIlQM5TpP9zbxJSKCPoXLaqwL8ody4ytLWMcOtR_6G9O_OFkrWyeBjcZ/s320/003.JPG" border="0" /></a> Not a great picture but I had to share my corn dog. Justie and I just love this girl. She's been busy this year learning lots of tricks. So far she knows how to sit, stay, lay down, roll over, fetch, crawl (my favorite), shake, high five and sometimes she'll sing... but only in the bathroom. I got to babysit him for a little while the other day and we had lots of fun. I wanted to share this picture to show off his new glasses- which by the way, have already been totalled- guess that's boys for ya! I also wanted to share one of his cute little sayings. That green pillow he's next to had little beads on the edges. He told me that pillow had earrings! This is the gift we got for Tyler to wear to the OSU games. Be on the lookout for him on TV. He's a paddle person this year so I'm sure he'll get lots of air time! Oh....but this isn't him....it's my Dad!!<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5654614762739467410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 230px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 299px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhs4Y3IoOKx-ve99AGVOhB_sUJO_H0TVCVBPhuJ5CD1ejk5CdIkXc-9F5ipQRY7jb5rFpGtYqL9Pkl4Bz4kv71_HdAsuiVTojki24-PSSMOvfnZkjfeC4UL5ug66RLv7sPo_dWiWPk5PxXZ/s320/002.JPG" border="0" />Didn't Mom do a great job of decorating for the party? It's so fun to celebrate birthdays with my brother!<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg36FPDU10JZBy1HO4Z5sqQ2Bkd8mRqQ9-jl76BO1W_TB4JSlGAIJ6KTAWUYAyJVs4FnlEy_fLh7dgHvov4wNJIFr05Ju0Wdc53JTRW0sVDAdpJqcDEjhSCUNdC7z1qeiiIu7BdW7HhVYWT/s1600/004.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5654613939189106194" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg36FPDU10JZBy1HO4Z5sqQ2Bkd8mRqQ9-jl76BO1W_TB4JSlGAIJ6KTAWUYAyJVs4FnlEy_fLh7dgHvov4wNJIFr05Ju0Wdc53JTRW0sVDAdpJqcDEjhSCUNdC7z1qeiiIu7BdW7HhVYWT/s320/004.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Justie was busy with training so I had to find some replacements for "grill master". These two did a great job! As a side note... see that guy holding the tongs? He's going to be a Dad any minute now!!! He and his wife are at the hospital right now. :)<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0I1UeWsYencTitY5jOBcZyvs4iJqvIt_zdTXYUT0AFjqzCy_vg1BpwgWbftm9o8pzh-b6UYdrIK4hGg1FBk48FPZ8nfcPEV6paLcCyUfo0yDId8vgFXqWEL2qohmpBHGky5En3rU_i8ls/s1600/005.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5654613603282087682" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0I1UeWsYencTitY5jOBcZyvs4iJqvIt_zdTXYUT0AFjqzCy_vg1BpwgWbftm9o8pzh-b6UYdrIK4hGg1FBk48FPZ8nfcPEV6paLcCyUfo0yDId8vgFXqWEL2qohmpBHGky5En3rU_i8ls/s320/005.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />I wanted to include some pictures of everyone at the party but we never got a group shot so here are some I wanted to share. I like the pictures but really I want to prove to Justie that all these people were at our house! When I told him who all was coming he asked "what, did you tell them I wouldn't be there or something?" Truth is I did! Guess it was just a really great weekend to throw a party :)<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6aE1O6RxCvFy_Kvu2wSnWHTz3m9cEX-K2l84JHnd9PM_suCXWiOittfunGEYWYxvaqcYD1EJEwNZuG_sezOkpdBhrQSJRxVf4UW9AF9ijVNHkZJXQqJ3SgVDXZGaGyeml6AnMRN5FplKn/s1600/006.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5654613304328646290" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6aE1O6RxCvFy_Kvu2wSnWHTz3m9cEX-K2l84JHnd9PM_suCXWiOittfunGEYWYxvaqcYD1EJEwNZuG_sezOkpdBhrQSJRxVf4UW9AF9ijVNHkZJXQqJ3SgVDXZGaGyeml6AnMRN5FplKn/s320/006.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg98GVcyTKxMTD27szwOsC5EsNzwSGWnR7NNzCc3e0RnOiVUfsPOyetsydIJALPcpylnhIqgm9IBaMLEJ3TxDCvBYC37DiMspeNtB-cnc8Fm7egFSL-kmFatSpvwpOPjt_-oXL-1FTbvQmt/s1600/007.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5654612952203450162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg98GVcyTKxMTD27szwOsC5EsNzwSGWnR7NNzCc3e0RnOiVUfsPOyetsydIJALPcpylnhIqgm9IBaMLEJ3TxDCvBYC37DiMspeNtB-cnc8Fm7egFSL-kmFatSpvwpOPjt_-oXL-1FTbvQmt/s320/007.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5tlSkGZAK0qfdNNU_ELucc1h_K5Pblxvjg72B0XHTKZK4973aLU6ZhcPGXSOhM46029MDwHdULazYTgJYw3guTx4rl7-mhg1sxZfvGpR6TMxsjiTW36z5z7PzQuLhtRMOpmWKPN8j-Jgy/s1600/008.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5654612513136382546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5tlSkGZAK0qfdNNU_ELucc1h_K5Pblxvjg72B0XHTKZK4973aLU6ZhcPGXSOhM46029MDwHdULazYTgJYw3guTx4rl7-mhg1sxZfvGpR6TMxsjiTW36z5z7PzQuLhtRMOpmWKPN8j-Jgy/s320/008.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />This last picture isn't very good but it's my proof that we did in fact go to the OSU/Tulsa game! I've been a really bad blogger lately! I do have a couple excuses (broke a camera and was short a computer for a while) but the important thing is I'm back. :)<br /><br />We've been pretty busy lately. The most important news over the last several weeks is that Justie got a new job! He's been training to be a pilot for American Eagle Airlines. Anyone who knows my husband knows he was literally born to fly. I'm so proud of him! Here's a picture from his first day of his new job.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5651222599696808786" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 262px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 316px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1Cav1TZF7KeApTkdxZ8z_rNVMeaJvEUA0YmSb2A_SwJuuMARuHM-SS_qyeN2IKeezXrOTaJRvIKjw-osTUhsRyvRSrB_kXDOCf3aV97b2foEu-ZWK5KK1UYu9SpJ3Kj33ZYVXU_Qc6MdX/s320/220.JPG" border="0" /><br />Now, don't think that just because he's started this new job I haven't been keeping him busy at home. We were so lucky to get a lot of gift cards for our wedding and we decided to use them to buy a new grill! The only problem was that it needed to be assembled. Here he is putting the grill together. You can tell it was a pretty big upgrade...our old grill is there on the right. :)<br /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5651224103711131154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 358px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 249px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoLKXev-HsTZdhEl3T8Uu71f3ZfQq3Ws4WhjvoKGo8NdGWoOjZIVOqaJ5qgiZiwaHMH28iGwTURxmMx1_xmHd1JW0hDy44P3q7bjMDurU2ms87As8vXv4dhlVbKJFwOI7WFvxoHZPpFAOM/s320/226.JPG" border="0" />While Justie's been busy with his new job I've been keeping myself pretty busy as well. I got to spend quite a bit of time with my new family. My sister-in-law and Justie's cousin went with me to the Tulsa Farmer's Market and I came home with quite the haul! Doesn't this stuff look great? I put that basil in some water and then planted it and to my surprise I didn't kill it off. :) It's actually looking pretty good.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5651223165757456818" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 268px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 198px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOGHld4O1SrN9VCWR0osDhYb2SioC8y6J12D54vN8OwfNWUqkOdQrXv-yVWCZatWs5iNrahPr3BVDzUWaEVOUYNrExhu8I5f054Erne3G1dS0C0X4G2_k5hSsmgobEhIUZMl7Bb7jU6ocF/s320/221.JPG" border="0" />I've also visited my sister-in-law at her house several times. Her husband got an awesome new truck! (Please don't tell my father-in-law I said that...he HATES Fords). The truck really is great though. There's so much room! I'm secretly planning a road trip :)<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5651224391448912642" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 265px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHGKY_mO_1qAr2bYUVWQcjf8gFCwWYqRIg2ji-ZpePPUEh6YEDa_W5satfZIiZ0J4X7KMDbv3tw-2LhME8y6fptL3uO6yDRwpgUPMVZ-f-LBo9_i0ysLZIioS91tA8B0grbp9fqm4dwsTY/s320/225.JPG" border="0" />While I was there our little nephew decided to run through the sprinkler. Isn't he cute?<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5651224624286018178" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 297px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 209px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkvfkTEqdrzhhgTAsgnSir__bBjP4cXqXH73BXp3WHic2-P2hi2q0U97sJLpOPT_7Lh9uoBkG9g5339ivydKLt3_YYFJnczAFLZ7FuU-xZTxwn5C34u_1avLokdqAAXUaYk3Z_vGSsdTzG/s320/222.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><div>Thursday I went to the OSU game with some friends and met up with my parents. <br /><div>I wish I would have taken a few more pictures of our room, it was really nice. It had a big four post bed with those curtain things (not sure what they are even called) and a jacuzzi tub. In the morning we would go out on the balcony while <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error">Justie</span> had his coffee that came with the wake up call :) The first night we were there they had this waiting on the bed for us and a bottle of champagne!</div>

<br /><div>Here's a picture of <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error">Justie</span> on the beach. I think we could have taken pictures everywhere we looked. It was just beautiful! I really like <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-error">Justie's</span> "tourist" shirt and linen pants. He <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">definitely</span> looked the part :)</div>

<br />
<br /><div>I'm including this picture for two reasons: 1. I really like the picture of us and 2: it was taken by our new friends from Canada! We just randomly asked them to snap this picture and we ran into them EVERY day :) They were so fun and <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-error">Justie</span> and I are talking about taking a trip to see them soon.</div>

<br />
<br />
<br /><div>This is us later that same night, we ate at this "culinary theater". <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Unfortunately</span> they were short a chef so we didn't get to watch them make our food on those big screens but we still had a wonderful time. All of the food there was <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_11" class="blsp-spelling-error">sooooo</span> good. Well, except for the one of the last meals <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_12" class="blsp-spelling-error">Justie</span> had. He ate raw octopus without knowing it! Didn't settle too well in his tummy but he was a trooper.

<br /><div>The only excursion we took was to <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_13" class="blsp-spelling-error">Xel</span>-Ha. It's the worlds largest aquarium. Here's a picture of the water... we just rented some snorkel gear and took off :) It was really fun and the crowds made us appreciate the resort even more!</div>

<br />
<br /><div>I'm so glad <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_14" class="blsp-spelling-error">Justie</span> woke me up early one day to go watch the sun rise. We got so many beautiful pictures but I decided to post this one so you can see the giant sand bags in the water. They were a bit of an eye sore but they made the snorkeling great! There were no big waves and no scary creatures :) Isn't that sky beautiful?</div>

<br /><div>These last two pictures are from our candlelight dinner. I've never been in such a romantic spot! There was a man playing the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_15" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">saxophone</span>, waves crashing in the background, great food and amazing scenery. Oh, did I mention my date was pretty awesome too? :)</div>

I love keeping up with what my friends are up to by reading their blogs so I thought I would start my own so people can see and read about the wedding and what happens in our lives after the big day. I'll admit, we aren't always the most interesting couple (we really enjoy our TV time) so "Keeping up with the Golays" may be a little misleading. If you're expecting us to be as entertaining as the Kardashians, you've got the wrong blog. But, if you want to see how we celebrate the beginning of our lives together and read about what we're up to, you've come to the right place.<br /><br /><div></div><br /><div>I'm still learning how to blog and haven't exactly gotten the picture adding down yet but if you want to see some of our engagement pictures feel free to visit our photographer's webpage at <a href="http://www.rebeccamanneyphotography.com/">www.rebeccamanneyphotography.com</a>. My friend, Rebecca, did a great job on our photos. We were both so happy with how they turned out. I met Rebecca when I worked as a recruiter for OSU. At the time she was recruiting for SWOSU. We both did some recuriting in northwest Oklahoma so when college fair season came along we were guaranteed to have a good time! I'll save some of those stories for another post. :) She's also taking pictures at our wedding...hope she's able to hide this mountain of a pimple on my chin! I guess we'll find out soon.</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1
